Jenny Makros
Jenny Makros is a Clinical Psychologist, an online consultant and the Director of Living Potential Psychology. She is registered with The Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. Jenny is a PBA registered supervisor, registered Medicare practitioner, and a qualified trainer and educator.
She has extensive experience working in private practice, public mental health services and educational settings. In addition to her online practice, Jenny holds a senior psychology position in a major public health service and runs a private practice in South Yarra, Victoria, Australia. Jenny consults with people who have experienced a broad range of challenging life circumstances and mental health issues. She works with her clients to not only alleviate negative symptoms but also to identify and pursue their life goals and aspirations that make life meaningful, rewarding and joyous.

Jenny is able to accurately assess client needs and make appropriate recommendations regarding what is likely to be of greatest benefit to them. She draws on a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to tailor treatments that meet her client’s specific needs. The intention is to advance client's lives beyond problem resolution and into the domain of positive human experience.
Jenny is a skilled practitioner in Cognitive-Behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Mindfulness-based practices. Jenny teaches mindfulness practices to her clients and facilitates mindfulness meditation groups for individuals and organisations.
